What this website collects

Nothing. The website is a set of static files. It has no database, no server-side code and no analytics, and it does not record who visits it.

The contact form does not send anything either: it composes a message and opens your own email client with it. Until you press send in your email client, the text stays on your device.

What happens when you do write to us

Your email arrives in our mailbox and is read by Mirko Merizio. We use it to answer you and, where it becomes an engagement, to carry out that engagement — the legal basis being steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

We keep enquiries for as long as the relationship, or the possibility of one, is live, and then for as long as any legal or tax obligation requires.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Who else sees it

Our email provider, as the technical means of receiving mail. Where an engagement requires it, the professionals working on it — lawyers, tax advisers, surveyors, notaries — and only what they need.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, by writing to mmerizio@mesalassets.com.

If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the UK supervisory authority.

Hosting and transfers

The site is served as static files. If you contact us from outside the United Kingdom, your message reaches a UK-based recipient.
